Software is Fun

Software has no constraints. In architecture, the laws of physics cannot be ignored, and in sports, restrictions such as physique inevitably arise. Software, however, is different.

If you feel that you can make it happen, you can do so by writing code in that way. Also, even if you cannot do it by yourself, you can use libraries created by engineers around the world to create what you want to create, even if your skills are not very high at that time.

If you want to do it, you can do it, and that is the most fun part.

Policy at Business

The most important aspect of our work is to have fun. Creating software requires technical skills. In other words, it requires study (learning). In the beginning, everyone is in a state where they do not have the technical skills and can do only a few things. In this state, it is easy to fall into the following loop.

I can't do it, so I don't enjoy it.

I don't want to do it because I don't enjoy it.

You won't learn to do it because you don't do it.

To break this loop...we need to break somewhere.

• I can't. ⇒You won't be able to do it out of the blue.
• I won't do it. ⇒Forcing them to do something won't make it last.
• Not fun. ⇒It could be fun, depending on how creative you are...

So it seems possible to change "not fun" to "fun". If you change the word "fun" to "enjoyable," the previous loop becomes as follows.
